But living in his brother's shadow consumed him. No matter how hard Michikatsu trained, he could never match Yoriichi's natural talent. That jealousy festered, and when Muzan offered him immortality and unlimited time to surpass his brother, Michikatsu accepted—becoming the demon Kokushibo.
For 480 years, he served as Upper Moon One, perfecting his Moon Breathing technique into something no human could ever master. His blade became an extension of his demonic power, featuring a distinctive flesh-like design with eyes embedded in the steel itself.
